Band class is lead by Michelle Probst, who holds a bachelors in music education and has 10 years teaching experience. In band, students are placed by playing ability into one of four band levels. No previous experience is required to join. Each level meets twice per week, with an additional “extra credit” class for beginners on Fridays. Instruction is offered for brass, woodwind, and percussion instruments. Band is a wonderful opportunity for students to learn the responsibility of caring for their music equipment and grow in character of consistent practice at home.
