Headmaster's Welcome
It's my pleasure to assist you in the critically important decisions concerning your child's education. The goal of Heartland Christian is to assist parents in their Biblical responsibility to train their children and serve as an extension of the family in uniting church, school and home.
We are a ministry to help all churches and denominations who desire a Bible-based education for their young people.

John Sproles
FOUNDER of Heartland Christian School
John Sproles is the founder of Heartland Christian School. In the summer of 2013, John called several local businessmen and Scott Clemens together to cast the vision of a Christian School in New Castle.
After two weeks of prayer, all agreed that God was wanting each of them to take this step of faith. John provided the facility that is now Heartland Christian School and built the expansion that was completed in 2019.
While John no longer serves on the board of directors as he is now the Sheriff of Henry County, he continues to give in multiple ways and loves the young people.
5 Year Celebration Presented in 2018
Since 2013, Heartland has grown every year. Starting with 26 students, God has blessed and prospered Heartland! Now in our ninth year, we are approaching 200 students.

While we're always excited to look ahead, we don't want to be guilty of forgetting the miracles that have come before and the provisions we've already received.
This is a recollection of Heartland's story from our Opening Day in 2013 to the end of the 5th year in 2018.
